From Monday May 14th, 2012 to Thursday June 7th, 2012 I interned with Mrs. Melissa Whitman. Melissa is one of three Instructional Technology Specialists for the Nazareth Area School District in Nazareth, PA. She works for the Nazareth Area Intermediate School which is grades 4 through 6 and Bushkill Elementary which is Kindergarden to 3rd grade..
I worked with Melissa, other Instructional Technologists in the district, students, teachers, and administrators during my time, while learning new skills and enhancing some I already had. The objective for the internship of "giving the student experiences in a professional setting where the competencies the student has gained through course work can be applied and further developed" was met 100%. My internship was done in a K-12 setting because I am earning my Specialist Certification along with my Masters.
